Florida time is up!

Shalom to all our friends, family, Brothers & Sisters in The Lord,
Our pleasant time in semi-sunny Florida has come to a close. We plan on starting our drive north on March 20th. Many goodbyes and things to wrap up with lots of thankyou's to go all around to the folks that have reached out to us in their special ways! We made lots of new friends and reunited with folks that are dear to our family.

Looking back, we can see that Father God orchestrated things for us to come here to the Keys and how it was the perfect winter to miss! Considering that one of the goals was to get our Man into the warmth and the sun. The winter sun came right into our southerly exposed doorway so at the right hour and for the right amt. of time Frank could have privacy and no chilling wind to keep him from soaking up the sun. We learned that people heal in 1/2 the time when absorbing Vit. D from the rays of the amazing sun.

We had great fellowship with the Spirit & Truth body of believers, received many words of encouragement and faith and were blessed with lots of love and prayers. Frank manned the Christian Boaters Association table at the annual nautical flea market. He shared and gave out brochures and gospel calendars all day and didn't even get tired, he loved it. For 2 sundays Pastor Marlin asked him to share from the pulpit, it was good to see brother Frank sharing the Word of God with the people again, and with much new insight.

The children continued with school in between all the new opportunities and experiences that comes with being in this part of Florida. Lots of water activities with all manner of vessels out in the ocean, the gulf, through the mangroves, exploring little islands. We rode bikes and even went ice skating in a rink in Miami!! Hannah Joy and Lydia Grace practiced and played with the worship band at the church. Christopher then Frank went up in a 2 seater, older model, open cockpit Piper Cub airplane. Mom heard about it after the fact! (probably a good thing)
We learned about hermit crabs, depth sounders, wrecks and wreckers, coconuts, the Spanish language and cuban culture, how to play dominoes, flora, fauna, birds and fish, among lots of other things. Oh and how to live in suburbia, how to live in an apt. with renters under you (somehow I don't think we made good grades on the last two). The plight of the homeless down here, we call them mangrovers as they build their shanties in the mangroves. Practiced lots of hospitality in our little apt. with one bathroom.( just like home).

Frank continues his therapies and for the most part he feels pretty good. He has lost alot of weight though. So consequently he is on a completely different tract diet wise, Lots of good quality meat, fish, egg protein and high quality fats! A far cry from carrot juice and raw food. The practioner we are using said that his wife was down to 65lbs with liver cancer and if you were to look at her today you would never know she was ever, ever sick!

As far as prayer requests, please continue to lift up Frank, especially that we would see with our spiritual eyes what we need to see. We desire to lay it all before God, that He would show us what is not of Him in our lives, ( In our hearts, minds, what comes out of our mouths and our attitudes) We are seeking Him for a total cleansing, body, soul and spirit, and the restoration that comes with that in our marriage, family relationships and of course physical health.

Thankyou once again for all your prayers, love and support. What would anyone of us do without the connection to the Body, We Love You ALL!!........

We have been given a 12ft aluminum skiff with a 5hp outboard that Frank wants to use as the big family dinghy. We'll be towing that back to the boat in NC.. In New Bern we'll do the big shuffle of unloading and switching trailers and then packing up for Tenn. Then we plan on returning only to shuffle the same stuff around and pack up camping gear for the much anticipated "Family Week Passover campout" in Kentucky for 1 week.

News From the Tropical Sunny South

Hello Again Friend's & Family in Messiah!
It's been about a month since the last post and we are now located 3 states to the south of North Carolina, in Florida.

The completion of the projects aboard were not materializing and the weather did get worse, so the decision was to go south for a couple of months. A set amount of funds were offered to cover the cost of renting something small for our family. We checked around a little knowing very well that it is the busy season down here and maybe even busier this year, which means rates are high and few vacancies.

Friend's from Spirit & Truth church offered the use of their motorhome in their yard for 2 weeks. We thought that with visiting other folks around the state and the motorhome we could be in the warm for awhile and see if anything would open up.

2 days before departing from the boat we received a call from Brother Marlin from Spirit & Truth in the Florida Keys. He explained that a 2 bedroom place for the exact amount of money that was offered previously was available to us just a few miles from his fellowship!

The apartment is part of a 2 level duplex. The unfurnished upstairs unit was all fit out by the industrious ladies of the fellowship, with an extra this and some old that and I'm not using these and the local thrift and dollar stores!

These same folks are so gracious and encouraging , always filled with words of faith and praising God! We are incredibly Blessed!

Please be in prayer for the Lupinacci Family from our home fellowship as they watched their home in Tenn. burn to the ground with all its valued contents and precious memories. The Father is providing for them . We are praying for an extra measure of His Grace, Strength, Vision and Courage at this time. Our prayers are for the entire Body of Christ as many are going through challenging times. That "The trial of our faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes though it be tried with fire, might be found unto Praise and Honour and Glory at the appearing of Yeshua Messiah." 1 Peter 1:7

The wonderful climate here is conducive to walking, breathing and sunning, Frank has been taking up these opportunities. A little too cool and breezy for swimming for him but we have gone out in the ocean kayaking. Frank is doing well on his program, there is a bathtub here for his soaking baths and the grocery is walking distance away for the good foods he needs. He is walking everyday, napping, sleeping well and doing really well. I think he has more energy too. He has times of pain and soreness as before but he is learning to focus on the Healer instead of symptoms!

Our prayer requests would be that Frank would totally manifest his healing. Including gaining weight and freedom from all pain. Also that not only would there would be physical evidence but also healing of "emotions" and healing in family relationships. That the very roots of the disease and all dysfunction physically, physiologically and spiritually would come under the submission of the Name that is Above all names, Yeshua (Jesus)! "That at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in the earth, and things under the earth." Phil 2:10
There is no other Name! G L O R Y ! ! !

So here we are in Tavernier, Florida until about the 3rd week or so in March. Afterwards we plan , Lord willing to attend the Passover celebration , "Family Week" with the brother's and sisters in Kentucky March 28th. Meanwhile we are still getting our mail forwarded from Tenn..

Thankyou all for your prayers, love and support at this time, We Love you!

The Master Daytimer posts the schedule!

Hello all of you, Beloved of the Lord! Thank you for keeping up with us on this journey and for your prayers to the Father in our behalf. It has been challenging to stay put in one place but as the bitter cold weather rolled in, it became easier to stay hunkered down in our winter clothes, sleeping bags and next to the trusty little space heaters. Only the hardiest of folks are heading off down the waterway, good sailing when winds are from the north but chilleeeeeee! We almost sailed together with a sweet couple we met here at the marina. They were willing to help Frank with his boat projects, the filters were changed but then the engine wouldn't start! We said goodbye to Mark & Dorissa with hopes that we'll be able to fellowship with them again when we meet up.

Since the last post we were at a crossroads, having a dilemma, in a pickle of sorts! Things were not coming together mechanically, electrically or plumberly in order to be able to drop the lines and leave the dock. God has his reasons for this delay/change of plans.... As Lesley cried out to Him for answers and help with her burden , He heard and is making a way! Our friend Russell Tatum got us in touch with an Alternative cancer practitioner that has used himself. He has helped thousands of people in all stages of cancer, his specialty is prostate but is very knowledgeable in treating all kinds. It's been about 10 days since we have been implementing this new protocol and we are seeing a big improvement! Frank's pain is abating and he is getting good nights sleep,
and he is exercising a little and has more energy when before he was wiped out nearly all the time. He has his times of being fatiqued although the practitioner said that is completely normal. For the next 20 - 50 days we have to stay on track with this. He has to take detoxifying baths 2x a day and ingest a baking soda solution to majorly raise his PH to cancer killing levels and he is on a few other supplements to assist the immune function and do in the cancer cells. We are establishing a routine with the baths at the marina. It would be very difficult to do that sort of thing while traveling on a boat in the cold, freezing weather!

So the Master Daytimer slots in a schedule for baths and baking soda, meals inbetween supplements etc.. The engine work and the rest of the boat work is on hold for now, we are about 85% done and the rest of it is not difficult. As the month moves on we have less opportunity to take the boat down the intracoastal and get set up down in Fla. before we'd have to turn around and come back. So that is out of the picture for now as is taking the boat with a crew of brothers outside in the ocean. At this time of year the Northerly winds and the Gulf Stream can whip up very quickly, making for an uncomfortable trip!
What we do have is a slot of time to close up the boat, pack the van and head down to Florida via the interstate. We have been given the opportunity to stay with different brothers & sisters throughout the state for a bit. Frank can continue his regime and get some needed sun and when the cold snap, snaps hopefully some heat and some swims.

We have accomplished alot at the dock here in North Carolina, preparing the boat to use in living aboard to do ministry and we have made many contacts here. Frank has had a unique ministry here at the marina with the different boaters. The marina showers and laundry room have been his favorite meeting place as it is nice and warm. The folks here know where Captain Frank is at 4:30 am.!

Even though we are on hold as far as boat travel, we are hoping that when the winter weather breaks we can return to the boat here in NC. to finish the jobs. Summer may be the time for fine tuning things and taking it out on "shake down" cruises with the family and others. That way we will be prepared as much as we are able to follow the course of our Heavenly Master Planner!

Thankyou again for your much appreciated prayers, encouragement and support.
As always we look forward to hearing from you!

How's it going?

How is it going? Where are you going? When are you going? There is alot going on. It is going according to God's plan and we are not going down!

We love to quote this scripture, "The mind of man plans his ways but the Lord directs his steps." Prov.16:9 Not only is it the truth but it is the best description of our "goings"! We make our general plans but we seek to be ready to allow the Master "Daytimer"(and Night-timer) to fill in the details.

We are still at the dock (the holidays notoriously slow things up), you know what they say about 3 steps forward and 2 steps back still makes progress! Frank has been patiently working with the electrician who has the mind of an engineer, very careful and thorough. He just installed the new breaker/instrument panels that he created. He comes to work with reels of red, green, white, yellow & black wire. He is sort of like a surgeon, knowing the routes of the veins and arteries, what connects to what. It was getting late one Thurs. and they were just about to finish up by connecting the green ground wire to the newly acquired marine inverter/charger. ZAP,CRACKLE, (common vernacular to electricians) the new inverter got fried. Never in his 50yrs of doing this kind of work has he ever experienced a green ground wire carrying 110 volts! Dave felt really bad, it wasn't his fault, who would have known? Those were not our plans, we do have to look at it positively though, we could have had an electrical fire or someone could have gotten electrocuted. We are waiting for Dave to get back from visiting his mom in Fla. This week we should be getting back to the problem and finishing the work.

Meanwhile we have all finally moved aboard the boat. We have discovered that we are really landlubbers, we brought too much stuff! Thankfully we have a trailer to transfer it into.

The weather has been unpredictable except it is winter even in the South and we can expect fronts, cold and rain. Many days we've had frost on the dock and ice on the boat. Typically one day it is sunny and the next is blowing a gale! This is all part of life's contrasts, Satan would like to play a big part in these contrasts but we love to defeat him at his little game, it is easy when we are in the Spirit because he is so predictable!

Join us in prayer about staying encouraged in spite of seeming setbacks. This is more difficult for the Captain as he sees and knows all the projects that need to be done. Pray for The Father to send help so Frank does not have to feel the burden of it all. Pray for Yahweh's mercy for Frank and a manifestation of healing in his body. Pray for peace along with the desire to have a "fighting spirit" and an increase in measure of faith for him.

Pray for Lesley as she sometimes feels like she is juggling alot of things right now. It is difficult to keep a balance of walking in faith and knowing just what protocols need to be implemented for Frank in his time of need. He is experiencing pain and fatigue in the evenings. She has to continue to lay it all down as she carries too much of the burden of Frank's healing.

Also , the Captain is concerned about the weather, We do have fewer "windows" of clear calm days. Pray that we will have faith and not murmur as the children of Israel, but to be content to move with the cloud & the fire, after all we are not facing Pharaoh's army behind and the Red Sea ahead! If Yahweh can make highways in the wilderness than He can make windows of opportunity for passage making.

Pray that if neccessary God would send a brother to help the Captain if he needs a hand, he is a little unsure as he has not "proven" this boat.
And finally pray for the Lord to orchestrate just the right folks to cross our paths, that we may be faithful to share the goodness of our God to meet the need in their lives.

We hope everyone had Holy and Worshipful holidays, yours in Messiah's Service
Frank & Lesley and Family
PS. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Faith is Living

There is a John Waller song that says,"I wish I could see, just three steps in front of me. But the Lamp unto my feet it only moves when I take a step and believe your word to me." This is our mode of operating, walking by faith not by sight. We've tasted this way of living before during different seasons and to various degrees. Things have gotten more "acute"! Now it is truely from God's hand -to our mouths! John's CD is called "While I'm waiting" and it speaks so much of the life of faith and the truths in the Word that are ours through Jesus, the Messiah! We have got to cling to these Truths in these times we all live in, while you are going through the trials in your lives. It's not "the christian faith" like the protestant faith or the roman catholic faith. It's FAITH! "Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. " Hebrews 11:1 "Looking unto Yeshua (Jesus) The Author and Finisher of our Faith." Hebrews 12:2 Abraham, "staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in Faith, giving Glory to Yahweh. And being fully persuaded that , what he had promised, he was able also to perform." Romans 4:20 &21 "And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness, and he was called the Friend of God." James 2:23 I think, so many times and for so many years believers get lazy and doubt God in their lives. We are called to be like Abraham, He believed, He believed, He believed THEN he put his Faith into action. James 2:24 That is where the blessing and the rest is, in the doing!
All Aboard "Saved By Grace" . Frank and Lydia Grace left Tennessee on Nov. 13th for NC. Lesley and the rest of the family joined them 12 days later. During that time, long time friend and brother, Tim Stewart joined Frank and Lyddie . He came with a huge servant's heart for 2 weeks to do lots of nearly impossible jobs. Miracles to us, everyday stuff to God! Alot got accomplished and fitted out as the Father has given Tim an abundance of thrifty, creative talent. Tim endured a squishy bunk, with his 3 bulging discs, not so regular meals, the galley was torn up most of the time. and the stomach bug was going around! ( The head, boat bathroom, was torn up too! ) What a labor of love for God and for His saints! Do we appreciate Timothy? Oh man ! do we! Lesley and the rest joined Frank at Russell & Eileen Tatum's home for a lovely Thanksgiving with their family. Frank has known Russ & Eileen since his unmarried days when he was aboard, "Malachi". When their family was young they shared the gospel from "Emmaus Road" and from"Jireh" so they are very familiar with boat living, homeschooling and ministry. They are still ministering as they also joined Frank and Lydia Grace and Frank's sister Sue for a "bleach party", rolling up their sleeves and removing what seemed like mushrooms growing, they even found a frog inside the boat! Now Russ & Eileen are graciously letting us stay at their camper which is 15 minutes from the marina. The "cushion man" David has come and is making cushions for all the bunks and seats using the canvas that was donated by another Dave. This Dave has been updating and renovating the ancient electrical system. It's all coming together! We are so very thankful for all the donations from friends, families, individuals and fellowships. We are finally learning not to marvel at all this, I mean when we would recieve a provision we would be surprised, almost. But then we began to see that our Abba Father delights to provide for His children's need. It is just like Him, of course, He is going to provide, so now instead of being surprised like it is a miracle ,we Glorify Him and Praise and Proclaim "Isn't that just like our wonderful Father God!! He is our Good Dad! We are also so very encouraged to see the Body of Believers functioning in their giftings! I am leaving lots of folks out of the line up, so many people have been gracious, you know who you are, you are beautiful children of the Most High King!
Frank has alot to figure out as captain of this ship, he says that we will probably be here for another week to 10 days, cleaning, organizing and fitting things out. The weather has been rainy and sometimes cold, a few nice days. We have some portable heaters and sleeping bags! He is feeling well and has alot of energy, evening time he winds down. Long time friends of ours Daniel & Susan Fenoff have donated something called MMS, miracle mineral solution. They have told us some amazing things about this supplement and how it can help in all kinds of disease situations. We have brought the juicer and when we are in some ports will be able to juice and do our best with lots of fresh veggies etc. but many times we won't have availability. That is okay though as we have laid it all down, The Father will again give us what is needed in His timing. There is such peace with this arrangement ! "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in Thee." Isaiah 26:3
We can be reached by cell phone when we have service and by mail at our home address in Tennessee, it will be forwarded periodically. Please continue to pray for increased faith, safety on the way and growing unity within the family. Also for appointed times to witness and share with folks about our beautiful relationship with our Awesome God. Before I forget, Both Frank and Lesley have already had numerous opportunities to share, we are so thank-full!!
Lesley, for Frank and the entire crew of "Saved By Grace"

From the John Waller song "Faith is living"
You've never lived until you've lived by Faith, You've never lived until you've trusted Grace, You've never lived till you lay it all down, so come and live, Faith is living."

Fear is the darkroom that developes the negative!

Greetings to our Friends and Family near and far,
Lots of things are happening on the Mullen Homestead, even though for part of Oct. we were away visiting and at the http://www.beinhealth.com/ , conference. As when we attended in the summer we had an enormous time of learning, jumping many steps in the sanctification process and undergoing much needed "heart, soul and spirit" surgery!! We recommend Every Believer to attend the 1 week, 50hour class. It is very reasonably priced, having lodging and 1 large meal in the cafeteria at noon. We would be happy to share a bit about the course if you want to know more. This time our 3 younger children attended the children's program at the same time. Not only does it explain Biblically the spiritual roots to disease, but also that unconfessed sin in our lives are a block to God doing a greater work of healing in our lives. It's about truly appropriating the work of the Saviour that was finished on the cross into our lives, real victorious living, no matter what comes your way!
Well we went to Birmingham, Al. to discuss with the ENT cancer surgeons if Frank is a candidate for a less invasive surgery to remove the primary tumor. Nope, It is too large and would take regular surgery and at the University Hosp. they would remove 1/2 of his throat, and reconstruct with an inner arm flap and take a graft off the thigh to patch that. He would have a temp. tracheotomy and a longer to stay in place stomach tube for feeding. He would be in the hosp. 1 week. Then after about 6 weeks or so they would start chemo and them radiation.
Frank could of chosen another opt. of Chemo and then radiation and then if that didn't do it ,surgery to remove the affected lymph nodes. It's 6 of one and 1/2 a dozen of the other. With the odds for a cure after 5 yrs. being 60%. Both ways you lose all the function of the salivary glands. Frank does not approve of those odds! What were we thinking? It's like we had lost all hope of who our Heavenly Father is, what sure promises He has for His children in His word, Did we just dismiss the account of the woman with the issue of blood? Or the end of King Asa? or the promises of Romans 8:28,1John 4:8,1Tim.1;7,Ezek.18:26-28,Psalm 32, Psalm 34,Psalm 91,Psalm 103,Psalm 30, And hundreds of scriptures that attest to the Faithfulness of Yahweh and that He alone is the Only True Healerand Our Merciful Heavenly Father that adores His Kids! Frank has decided to fall into the hands of the Everliving God for his life whether he is healed or whether he goes Heaven, either way is win, win. Since He has made this decision he has Peace and Joy and Hope! Yes the enemy of our souls, the accuser of the brethren whispers,"What if?" "I should have." and your're gonna!" But we are determined to cast down those thoughts 11Cor10:5&6 and think on Philip. 4:8! Finally brethren , whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, if there be any virtue, and any praise think on these things. Not mind over matter but truth over evil!
Julia Ann has finally come home from her 2 months in Israel, She had a wonderful time and truly thrives in the "missionary life", thankyou for your prayers and support in her behalf. http://www.hayovel.com/ will have an update in a week or so and Julia Ann just updated her blog, http://www.loverofzion.blogspot.com/ there are other links that you can go to, to get more info on that work.
Now we are in full swing getting things in order and shut down here on the homestead. Animals need a temporary home, The Lord has provided for every one of them. Harvesting the last of the veggies and finding homes for that, saying, "see you later "to our friends and fellowship here and all the other preparations for leaving for the Boat! We hope to leave the week of Nov. 16th. We'll have to do some work aboard, rebuild the head and get another sink. Install a propane stove and build some storage, shelves etc., Finish the electrical work. There is probably alot more but we can also do that this winter in the warmer climate. There is a fellowship that is flying a brother who is a real encouragement in the Lord , to help Frank do some of this work. Also a couple of weeks ago another brother gave Frank some funds to help in this preparing to go phase. We have also had donations for the supplements that Frank has been taking. We are very thankful for all the gifts, help and encouragement!!! Frank and the family are very excited about this adventure. Frank will be passing down a heritage of ministry aboard boats but even more a legacy of Faith and trusting in God for everything. If he can trust the Lord for his very life ,trusting Him to provide while we live and minister from the boat is a piece of cake! Oh taste and see that the Lord is good.! We do appreciate your prayers for mercy, compassion , provision, safety and that we would be faithful to share the Good News of Salvation in Jesus Christ to all that the Father puts in our paths. After 6o some odd years of life in Him, Frank has alot to share, Glory!!! During this season in Frank's life one of his favorite verses is "I shall not die, but live, and declare the Works of The Lord." Psalm 118:17
Keep in touch and keep praying , we plan on continuing to update this site. Love in Him to you all !
Lesley.
ps. Frank says "scroll down to see pictures of the boat and to follow the story of how The Lord has put all this into motion"

Hey Everyone!
